I had a few pieces of antique jewelry to sell so I came here based on the positive reviews. The reviews were completely accurate and my experience was phenomenal. AJ was patient and unhurried. I feel he was more than fair in our deal and as I decide to part with more jewelry this is where I’ll go. I encourage anyone who wants a good experience to come here. My only complaint is that there was so much stunning jewelry for sale and I wanted it all but alas I had to be sensible!
I enjoyed doing business with AJ at Abercrombie. The shop is very nice and in a lovely location. AJ’s relaxed and understanding demeanor went a long way towards putting me at ease during a difficult transaction. I walked out feeling like I got the best deal on my diamond sale under the challenging circumstances. Would highly recommend.

This place is amazing. Aj and Stephanie are super awesome down to earth people that represent everything I fell in love with about old school austin. I was worried that I would not be able to afford anything in the shop because of its location, but was happily surprised with how affordable their work is. You can tell that they really care and love what they do. They also gave me an amazing price on some scrap gold I turned in. The ring they made me is unique and gorgeous and I am so happy I walked in to their shop. They made it so quick and easy and now I have something gorgeous that I love……the hardest thing will be keeping it a secret until that magical day arrives :).
My completely custom, hand-made engagement ring is GORGEOUS!!! The Abercrombie team did a phenomenal job making my ring exactly how I wanted. I honestly can’t even believe how beautiful it is. The pearl is lovely, the diamonds are all unique and the craftsmanship is stunning. I thank them so much for the attention to all my requests, emails and visits. I’ve been getting compliments on it every single day. They were also the ONLY jeweler that wasn’t dismissive and flat out rude to me when I was shopping for a custom ring in the first place. I can’t say enough about Stephanie. She was extremely helpful. At first I was considering a custom ring, they made the CAD and gave me the price. Unfortunately it didn’t fit in my budget. Instead of writing me off, Stephanie suggested we look at ready made settings. We were able to get a similar ring that fit within my budget. I thought it was really kind of her to work with us throughout the entire process. She was very understanding of and worked with my limited budget. If you read this, THANK YOU STEPHANIE!!!
The shop is filled with lovely curated estate finds. Original, authentic , unusual vintage finds as well as some stunning on-site crafted pieces. Fell in love with fingersful of beautiful delicate rings! Gemstones, diamonds, and pearls! oh my!!
